Welcome to Our School

Glisten Secondary Section

Glisten International Academy came into being on 18th September 2006 with 7 Females, 5 Males and 13 Members of Staff. Mr. Charles Eneh & Mrs. Prisca Godwill were Head & Assistant Head Teachers respectively. In the same year, the school was adjudged the BEST Private Primary School in FCT by the Education Secretariat, Abuja. In 2007, the Department of Policy and Implementation accredited Glisten Int’l Academy, Abuja.

 

Glisten International Academy (Secondary Section) came into being in September 2007 at that time it was located at the same place with the primary section (6 Amisi Musa Street, off Alex Ekwueme way, Jabi, Abuja).

 

With the increased student intake, the school was relocated to life Camp District, in 2009. Forty-seven (47) Student and eighteen (18) members of staff were in attendance on resumption day (14-09-2009).

 

On November 13, 2011, the school was relocated to the permanent site at plot 1457, Cadastral Zone B8, Jahi-District, Abuja. Boarding house services also commenced at the same time. Total population in the secondary section (first term 2014/2015 Academic session) is 588

 

Finally, an experienced Board of Directors made up of seasoned educationists with more than 30yrs experience, pilot the affairs of this institution.
